Beta Agreement

Effective: March 2026

This beta agreement governs your participation in the Shipwright closed beta, operated by Cleer Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN-registered company, Sydney, Australia). By using Shipwright during the beta period, you agree to these terms in addition to the general Terms of Service.

Beta program

Shipwright is in closed beta. Access is by invitation only and may be revoked at any time.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without any uptime guarantees or service level agreements. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Features, behaviour, and availability may change without notice during the beta period. The beta may be ended at any time.

Telemetry & data collection

During the beta, run data is collected to improve the product. By using the beta you explicitly consent to the following data being collected and used for product improvement:

  • Run metadata — task count, duration, cost, grade, and errors
  • Generated code — the output Shipwright produces (not your existing codebase)
  • PRD content — the product requirements document you provide as input
  • Human-in-the-loop decisions — questions the pipeline asks and your answers

Your source code is never collected. Your source code stays on your machine. Shipwright orchestrates — your CLI executes.

Collected data is used to improve pipeline quality for all users. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how data is stored and handled.

Output quality

Generated code may require manual review and modification before use. Shipwright provides audit grades as a guide, but does not guarantee that output is production-ready or free of defects.

You are responsible for reviewing all generated output before deploying it to any environment. Cleer Consulting is not liable for any issues arising from the use of generated code without review.

No cost during beta

Beta access is free. Shipwright operates on a bring-your-own-key (BYOK) model — you provide your own AI CLI API keys and are billed directly by those providers for model usage.

Your usage is tracked internally for future billing decisions. You will be notified before any paid tier begins. Continued use after that notification constitutes acceptance of the pricing terms communicated at that time.

Acceptance & withdrawal

By using the Shipwright beta you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You may withdraw from the beta at any time by contacting luke@cleerconsulting.com. On withdrawal, your account will be deactivated and no further data will be collected.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from this agreement or the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
